You may have made pancakes or waffles with store-bought syrup before, but homemade strawberry syrup takes breakfast to a whole new level—and it’s surprisingly quick to make! With strawberries in season, we thought it was the perfect time to try a fresh, fruity twist on the usual maple. We love using it on everything from weekend pancakes to sweetening iced tea. We’ve even drizzled it over cheesecake for dessert. The freshness and flavor can’t be beat!
I honestly had no idea how easy it was to make strawberry syrup from scratch! Just a handful of ingredients and a few minutes on the stove, and you’ve got a jar of bright, berry-sweet goodness. You can even stir in a splash of lemon juice or vanilla for extra depth.
This syrup is the perfect addition to your Mother’s Day breakfast, Easter brunch, or just a lazy Saturday morning spread. And if you’re looking for more ways to use fresh berries, we’ve got plenty of ideas!
